Where have I been?

Oh my goodness I feel like its been forever since I have blogged! I have been so busy with so many different things and projects lately I just couldn't keep up with it. Life sometimes gets ahead of us, doesn't it? I've been planning so many things for my senior spokes models, I took on not 1 but 2 "internships", I've been planning my sons 3rd birthday, our 3 night 4 day vacation to the beach and our Florida Disney trip in November! I have been so busy lately and if it wasn't for all of my weekly planning I wouldn't be able to sort half of these thoughts!

I am so beyond excited for these "internships!" This is my chance to help other photographers and learn their work process and some things that I do not know. You can never stop learning new things especially in the creative industry. I will be helping an amazing photographer with all of her weddings this year not only as a second shooter but a light assistant. I will be able to ask her any question I have about tricky lighting situations and how to edit photos perfectly so that they're light and airy! Also, I will be working along side of another amazing photographer with some of her senior spokes models. I will be able to ask her questions on how to have an amazing spokes model team and be able to build a group of seniors that will support my local business!

I've also become apart of Hearts Apart Org! This is a non profit organization that makes sure deploying solders have photos of their family's to take with them in a weather proof bi fold! I had my first session the other day with a family whos husband and father is deploying in less than 3 weeks! It's rough to watch someone you love leave for an extended period of time. Little known fact my dad was over seas for 8 years, so I couldn't be apart of a more perfect organization.

Last but not least we have so much stuff going on here at home! Brayden will be 3 on the 20th! We are planning his huge dinosaur themed party and he is so excited! It's still so hard for me to wrap my head around my little one growing up this quickly! Paislee is 5 months today, I know already! She is growing like a weed! We are planning so many fun summer activities to do during the week so that the kids can be outside and doing new and fun things. In September my husband will be celebrating his birthday so of course I had to treat him to something nice! We will be going to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend of fun in the sun and relaxation with out kids. Than just a little over a month after that we will be going to Florida to go to Disney for a week and a half with out little ones and my parents for our delayed honeymoon!

So with all of that being said I will sadly be taking limited session till the end of this year. It's time for me to learn and grow my business some more and be present with my family! I am so excited to share so many photos with you guys of everything we are doing around here! so stay tuned to see all of our awesome vacations!
