My Special Tips and Tricks!

I never thought I'd get to a place in my business that people are actually asking me to teach them and asking if I have any tips on how to be a momma and a boss lady. It's taken a few months to get things in a full swing but I am so thankful I found my way around things. Many of you may not know but before I launched my business I spent months figure out prices and work processes. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to advertise myself and building my own website. I did not just jump into booking session and getting clients and I feel like that helped me a lot with being such a young business owner and having such a new company. So, today I want to share some of my tips and tricks with you guys!
First off I learn that it's not going to be easy being a momma and a boss! It's going to be a lot of late nights and planning posts out weeks in advance. I learned that when both babies are napping that you need to get behind that computer and edit like crazy or send out emails right away. Those dishes can wait. You're business is how you're going to support yourself and your children. I've gotten lucky enough that my hubby works 40 plus hours a week so that I don't constantly have to be working and I can schedule things in advance and not have to worry about them.
Now the second thing. Learn to schedule posts as far in advance as you can! When you're building your business and taking photos of family and friends get them in as many outfits and different locations as possible so that you never run out of content and can look like you're in high demand when sometimes you really aren't. There are so many apps that you can use to plan things out. Sometimes I'm so old fashion and I hand write everything in my agenda and other days I completely rely on my phone and the apps to help me! I've been using Planoly for my post. I cant post to Instagram for you because Instagram doesn't allow any other sites to post for you but its get for scheduling. I am all about being overly organized so for me these tools and little things helped, that was one of the things I made sure I got down before I launched my company.
Lastly but not least, take yourself seriously. You're a business owner. This is your company with your name on it. You will look all around and see tons of other business owners a thousand steps ahead of you and it can really get you down some times but you can't let it. People will try to get tons of deals out of you especially if they see that you're new. You can't let this happen because than you'll just be known for all of the deals that you offer and once your price go up people will not book with you as much anymore or try to get lower prices than what everyone else expects. You wouldn't go to a store and say we'll I want this item for half off. You wouldn't go get your nails done and expect them to do the service half off because you've booked with them before. Your prices are set for a reason. So take yourself and your prices seriously. I have had so many people come to me and ask how I still manage to book without having to fish for clients and offer deals. I offer those answers and so many other in my new mentoring session! I'm so excited to be offering these sessions for everyone who has been wanting to ask question and learn but not want to pay an arm and a leg for a mentoring session!
